Postcard, Anyone?

Wednesday, October 30th, 2013

While the launch of SHUNNED AND DANGEROUS (Amish Mysteries # 3) is still four months away, I’m already thinking ahead to launch month. That’s why I’m already starting to ink event and conference dates for March and April.

Equally important is getting the word out to you, my readers, when March 4th is finally here. So, if you haven’t signed up for my e-newsletter, I encourage you to do so while you’re here on my website. I do not give your information out to anyone else and I only send a newsletter three or four times a year (at the most). To sign up, please fill out the form on either my Home page, my Contact page, or via the “newsletter” link at the bottom of this page.

If you’d like to receive an actual postcard in the mail (with the cover of the book on the front/blurb on the back) that you can take to the bookstore with you, then send me an email with your snail mail address included and I’ll add you to my mailing list. You can send me an email off my Contact Page.

I’m excited for SHUNNED AND DANGEROUS to release. I think you’re really going to like it!

Mitch and Elise Return

Sunday, October 20th, 2013

For those of you who are fans of my Jenkins & Burns Mysteries, I’ve just released a brand new novella–DEADLY AMBITION–for that series.

Although it’s been more than five years since I’ve written a story for Detective Mitch Burns and Elise Jenkins, I found it awfully fun to step back into their world for a while. I hope you will, too!

DEADLY AMBITION is just 99 cents and is available wherever E-books are sold.

As for the story, here’s a peek at what’s going on in DEADLY AMBITION:

In the aftermath of the most destructive hurricane to hit the Jersey Shore in a century, Elise Burns and the other residents of Ocean Point are doing their best to recover and rebuild, which is why the recent string of robberies hits everyone especially hard. Fuming to catch the thief preying on those who have already suffered so much, Detective Mitch Burns will stop at nothing to solve
the crimes.

When another robbery turns to murder and a college student who’s interning at Elise’s newspaper is caught with the murder weapon in his hand, Mitch is convinced it’s an open-and-shut case. Elise knows the brash and ambitious aspiring reporter would go to any lengths to get a story, but was he a killer? Following clues from the intern’s notebooks and her own reporter’s gut sense, she sets out to track down a thief and a killer and exonerate a suspect she doesn’t even like—even if she has to put herself in harm’s way to do it.

Happy Reading!
