We’ve officially entered my favorite time of year. The house is extra warm and cozy with all the holiday decorations out and about, the baking cabinet is stocked with all the ingredients I need for my many baking projects, the invitations have been sent for my annual holiday dessert party, and I’ve adopted a soldier this year.
On the work front, I just finished writing Amish mystery # 4 and I really, really like this book. I learned a lot about Pennsylvania law as it pertains to a certain crime. Fascinating stuff! I also introduce a new Amish character (one who happens to be on Rumspringa) into this book. Her name is Annie and I’m already quite fond of her.
Now, before you think you’ve missed something on account of me turning in book #4…you haven’t. SHUNNED AND DANGEROUS, the 3rd book in the series, will be out March 4th and I’m currently doing what’s known as “final pass edits” on the book. I’ll be turning those back around to my editor by the end of the week so they can put the book into the production stage.
I’ll be doing a decent number of book events for this release, so be sure to keep checking the margin here on your right (where I list where/when I’ll be). I’m adding more things all the time!
If you haven’t signed up for my newsletter yet, please do. I only send an e-newsletter out 2-3 times a year and all of your information stays with me. That’s a promise.
Good luck with everything you have to do these next few weeks, and remember to relax and enjoy it all, too!
