A Nod From The Amish

033One of my personal highlights from my most recent research trip to Lancaster County, PA,  came at an Amish-owned shop located on their farm. I was wandering around, looking at the dolls and baskets and other homemade items, when I came across this…


Sure, I’ve seen my books in independent bookstores and big chains like Barnes & Noble before, and it’s always exciting. But to see it in an actual Amish owned shop?!?!?!?


Thankfully the tour guide was as excited as I was and took this picture for me.
