It’s Here!

silenceflans_front mech.inddThe Silence of the Flans (Emergency Dessert Squad Mystery # 2) is finally here!!

And if you loved the first book, Éclair and Present Danger, I think you’ll really enjoy your follow-up visit with Winnie and the gang. You can find a teaser (in Winnie’s own voice) at Dru’s Book Musing.  Winnie’s post will give you a quick glimpse at the mayhem in store for her in the new book.

If you found yourself drooling over some of the desserts Winnie makes in the book, I included three recipes in the back. Two of them you can see in pictures via:

IMG_3406**My recent visit to Mystery Lovers Kitchen where I made Winnie’s Black-and-Blue Cookies. The giveaway associated with this post is now over, but the post and the recipe/pictures are still going strong. 🙂

**The amazing Kim Davis of Cinnamon and Sugar and a Little Bit of Murder made Winnie’s Apple Kootchy-Kootchy-Kook Kuchen and not only are the pictures of the kuchen mouthwatering, Kim also made a video of her making the delicious dessert. So be sure to check that out HERE.

I hope you enjoy The Silence of the Flans. If you pre-ordered it in advance of it’s release–thank you!!  If you purchased it on launch day, or plan to purchase it during launch week–thank  you!!  If you’ve requested your library to carry it–thank you! If you enjoyed the book and took the time to tell a friend and/or write a review–thank you!  I couldn’t continue to write all these books without the support of my amazing readers.

Thank you!

The Day Has Come

Tuesday, June 7th, 2016

It’s here! It’s here!

Éclair and Present Danger (Book # 1 in my new Emergency Dessert Squad Mysteries) is here!

éclair_front mech.indd

Reviews are popping up all over the place, like this one from Fresh Fiction. Among the glowing things they had to say about the book, this one begged to be pulled out: “ÉCLAIR AND PRESENT DANGER is a charming cozy mystery that will have you laughing.”

And then there’s this 5-star review on Éclair and Present Danger that says:  “This book is all kinds of fun.”

Oh, can’t forget this review, either.  In fact, I couldn’t resist pulling out this entire paragraph: “Eclair and Present Danger is everything a cozy mystery should be! Laura Bradford has created the perfect recipe for fans of the genre – winsome characters, humor, quirky pet, cute small business, and a whodunit that isn’t immediately obvious. Plus, a dash of romance to make your heart flutter and a fun title to make you smile!”

So yeah, I’m pretty excited!  I hope you give Éclair and Present Danger a try, too.

And don’t forget, I’m traveling this week, doing events in Indiana, Missouri, Arizona, and New Hampshire.  Check out the details here on the right side of this page.

Éclair and Present Danger is Just Around The Corner

Tuesday, May 24th, 2016

Wow. I can hardly believe Éclair and Present Danger (book # 1 in my new Emergency Dessert Squad Mysteries) will release just 2 weeks from today!!

I tell you, June 7th can’t come fast enough for me.

Then again, with everything I’m trying to get done right now, maybe it can. 🙂

Starting June 1st, I’ll be doing a 12 day “virtual tour” with Escape with Dollycas. Each day, the book will be featured on a blog (or several). Sometimes, I’ll have a unique post that tells a little bit about the book from either my perspective or that of one of the characters, and sometimes there will simply be a review of the book by whomever is hosting that day.  You can find out where I am each day by going HERE and scrolling down (the who/where will be on the right hand side).

During the week of June 7th, I’ll also be making five in-person stops at various spots around the country. Details about where I’ll be and when can be found right here on this very page (under “events” on the right).  If you’re in the vicinity of any of these places, I sure would love to meet you.

I’ll be sharing details of everything on my Facebook author page–pictures, fun happenings, etc.  So if you’re on Facebook, be sure to visit my page every day.

And if not, I’ll be sharing things here, as well.

We’ll talk again soon!
